Food Grade Organic Diatomaceous Earth For Flea And Tick Control For Pets

Food Grade Organic Diatomaceous Earth

For Flea And Tick Control

For Pets

(Cats, Dogs, Chicken and more)

Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth is very effective against any type of worms, lice, mites and other pests.

Diatomaceous earth is a geological deposit made up of the fossilized skeletons and tests of siliceous marine and fresh water organisms, particularly diatoms and other algae. These skeletons are made of hydrated amorphous silica or opal. When crushed, they break up into tiny pieces of glass'' (so tiny that the material feels like talcum powder). This is easily picked up by the hairy bodies of most Insects. Whereupon it scratches through their protective wax layers; and they also absorb some of this material, the result being that the insects lose water rapidly, dry up and die. Further protection is provided by the powder's property of repelling many insects. A similar principle probably accounts for the fact that birds frequently take dust baths, presumably to rid themselves of parasites.

As pets get older, they also get sore joints. With Diatomaceous Earth in their diet they will feel better. Also apply to moist kennel areas to reduce odors, dry the area, and prevent pest breeding. Deodorizing and absorption are natural functions of Diatomaceous Earth, so add to kitty litter to absorb odors and keep the litter box drier.

Dusting DIATOMACEOUS EARTH on the coats of cats and dogs for Flea, Tick and Lice Control

This is how you use Diatomaceous Earth the most effective way to eliminate fleas:

Take your dog or cat in the bathroom and set it in the tub. Sprinkle the diatomaceous earth all over its fur to take care of any ticks and fleas that may be on it. Repeat these steps every seven days for a total of three weeks. Your ticks and fleas will be completely eradicated by then. Ticks and fleas will die within 72 hours of the diatomaceous earth application, but the flea eggs that were laid won't hatch until one week later. They must be killed with the diatomaceous earth in order to prevent them from laying more eggs. After three weeks, you should have been able to kill any fleas that hatched..
