Fuller's Earth Clay is a naturally occurring sedimentary clay composed mainly of alumina, silica, iron oxides, lime, magnesia, and water, in extremely variable proportions.
It has the incredible ability to remove oils and impurities from the skin and produces a lightening effect on the outer epidermal layer. Fuller's Earth Clay is often used in facial "bleaching" masks as it holds a natural skin lightening effect which comes from its components of mineral.
It comes highly recommended to those with acne problems, blemishes, spotting, and people prone to oily skin. It is also a useful base ingredient for facial clay recipes and adds a nice finishing touch to clay products promising to aid its user with their battle against oily skin.

The name of fullers earth comes from the people who were the first to capitalize on its use. Laborers who processed wool used it to soak up the oil from the sheep. These workers were called "fullers" and that's where the clay gets its name.
Directions:
To use, wet skin liberally. Then take about 1/4 teaspoonful of Fuller's Earth Clay and mix it in the palm of your hand. Apply to the face and to the neck area. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Apply this product directly to a blemish and leave on for five to ten minutes. It will help to draw out the impurities therein. Keep product dry. Do not use in eye area.
