Memory And Brain Support Herbal Tincture

If you’ve ever walked into a room and couldn’t remember why you were there; misplaced your keys (or even your car in a parking lot); or forgotten the name of an acquaintance, you might have momentarily wondered if you were losing your mind. If you’re over the age of 50, you might even be seriously concerned about the possibility of Alzheimer’s.

Although a decline in memory and brain function is generally regarded as an inevitable part of growing older, in reality, brain aging is caused by poor cerebral circulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, inflammation, oxidative damage, and decreased levels of anabolic-repair hormones, including DHEA and testosterone. All of these factors contribute to changes in the brain that lead to neuronal degeneration and cognitive impairment.

While pharmaceuticals tend to have a single action, herbs can have multiple, often synergistic actions. Because dementias have multiple causes, this herbal multitasking is important.

MEMORY AND BRAIN SUPPORT HERBAL TINCTURE is a unique blend of well known herbs that promote healthy brain function for people of all ages-including young students, busy professionals and aging seniors. In addition it also helps you stay focused and energized. A lovely blend of organic Ginkgo, Pennywort, Rosemary, Peppermint, and Sage. All are useful for strengthening the brain and memory. However, it must be used consistently for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

The herbs used in this formula:

Gingko- The gingko leaf is one of the most highly researched botanicals in Western Herbalism and is prized for its neuro-protective properties. Gingko leaf is widely used in herbal formulas to support the brain. Ginkgo's most powerful effect is on the circulatory system. Ginkgo flavenoids directly dilate the smallest segment of the circulating system, the micro-capillaries, which increase both blood circulation and oxygen levels in the brain as well as in other critical organ tissues. Ginkgo also prevents platelet aggregation or clumping inside the arterial walls. This increases arterial wall strength and flexibility and decreases the opportunity for the formation of arterioscleratic plaque. Since ginkgo increases oxygen flow to the brain and enhances the brain's uptake and utilization of glucose, it is also being researched for its role in senility and forgetfulness and its role in improving alertness, memory and mental performance.

Pennywort- Supports mental function, memory and concentration, enhances mental clarity, and improves brain and peripheral circulation

Peppermint- Aside from stimulating your alertness, peppermint can stimulate your brain in additional ways. Peppermint can boost your mood and uplift you so you feel more refreshed and rejuvenated.

Rosemary- improves memory, increases circulation to the brain & helps with headache.

Sage- Both clinical studies and traditional wisdom agree that sage (Salvia officinalis) has positive effects on memory and concentration in both older people with cognitive problems and younger people with ADD. It enhances memory by protecting a component in our nervous system known as acetylcholine. This neurotransmitter is involved in our ability to think, learn, and remember things.

Directions: SHAKE WELL. Take 5-30 drops in tea, water, juice, 2-3 times daily. Best results are seen after consistent use of at least 2 to 3 months.
